Jyoti Vaswani - CIO & Director leads the Investment team of Aviva. She is supported by Head - Fixed Income & Head – Equity. Their brief profile is as under:
Ms. Jyoti Vaswani - CIO & Director - Fund Management
She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) by qualification and has 17 years of experience. She has been with Aviva since August 2004. She joined Aviva from JM Capital Management where she was heading the Equity Fund Management Function. In her previous experiences with JM Share & Stock Brokers Ltd, Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt. Ltd and General Insurance Corporation, she was involved in equity research.
Jyoti is a recipient of the ICRA Gold Award for the best performer for JM Balanced Fund for three year period ended March 2004. She also attended a course on Financial Markets from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE), London.
Mr. Niraj Kumar- Head Equity
He is an economics graduate and holds an MBA degree in Finance. He has more than a decade of experience in the area of fund management and macroeconomics. He has been working with Aviva India for almost 4 years and is currently responsible for managing the Equity Team and Equity Investment of Aviva. Prior to Aviva, Niraj has worked with UTI MF for more than 5 years in different positions as an Analyst and Fund Manager. He has also worked in Ministry of Planning (Govt. of India).
Over the years, he has built expertise in the areas of Portfolio Management, Equity Analysis and Macroeconomics and has worked for diverse fields.
Mr. Vijay Anand – Fund Manager - Fixed Income
Vijay joined the fund management team of Aviva Life Insurance Co. India Ltd. in July 2010. He brings with himself more than 10 year of experience in Fixed Income Market. Earlier, he was working with Reliance Life Insurance Co. Ltd as Fund Manager -Fixed Income. He has also worked with PNB Gilts Ltd. a leading Primary Dealer of the country & with Development Credit Bank Ltd as AVP – Money Market in Treasury.
He is Science graduate and holds PGDBF from Indian Institute of Finance. Over the years, he has built expertise in the areas of Fixed Income products & Fixed Income Portfolio Management.
Ms. Garima Kapoor - Economist
Garima Kapoor is an Economist at Aviva India. She holds Masters in Economics from University of Nottingham, UK. She has been working with Aviva India for last two years. She is involved in tracking macro-economic variables to anticipate key economic trends, which in turn help in making investments.
Prior to joining Aviva, Garima has worked with a leading rating agency, where she was involved in tracking Indian Economy.
Amit Sureka, Research Analyst
Amit is an Equity Research Analyst at Aviva India. He is responsible for identifying investment opportunities in promising sectors and stocks.
Prior to joining Aviva India, Amit has worked with leading Mutual Fund and Asset Management companies such as SBI MF and Kotak Asset Management. He brings to the team more than 7 years of experience in Equity Research.
Ravi Bhatia, Research Analyst - Equity
He holds an MBA degree in Finance and CFA. He has been working with Aviva India for almost 4 years. He is responsible for identifying investment opportunities in promising sectors and stocks.
Prior to joining Aviva, Ravi has worked with UTI AMC in the area of equity research and fund management. He brings with him close to seven years of experience in equity research.
Amruta Borwankar, Equity Dealer
Amruta Borwankar holds an MBA degree in Finance. She is also responsible for identifying investment opportunities in promising sectors and stocks. He has been working with Aviva India for two years.
Prior to joining Aviva, Amruta worked with STCI Primary Dealer Ltd. She has more than five years of experience in the equity, cash and derivatives trading.
Ankur Khandelwal – Fixed Income Dealer
Ankur Khandelwal is a MBA (Finance) & B. Tech. (Information Technology) from IIITM – Gwalior. He works as a Fixed Income Dealer & deals in fixed income securities and assists in fixed income investments.
He joined Aviva in Dec-2010. Earlier he has worked with Reliance Life Insurance Company Ltd. He brings to the team an experience of more than a year in Fixed Income dealing.
Alok Singh – Equity Dealer
Alok Singh holds an MBA degree in Finance from University of Pune. At, Aviva he takes care of all the activities related to dealing in Equity segment.
Prior to joining Aviva, Alok has worked for Anand Rathi Shares & Stock brokers Ltd.as a Sr.Equity Dealer. He brings to the team close to three year of experience in equity and derivative trading.
